Callum Henderson, Jacques Miché and Ross McCormack are Artful Dodger

The Artful Dodger is the favourite of Fagin's Boys, and as his name implies, the most skilled thief. He befriends Oliver and brings him to Fagin.

Jacques Miché

Jacques Miché

Jacques is 13 and lives in Bath. He loves music, drama and dance and learns the piano, drums and bass guitar as well as having singing lessons. He has trained at the Dorothy Coleborne School of Dance since he was six and this has led to opportunities in professional theatre work. He has played Trouble in Madam Butterfly and Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol (Royal Northern Ballet), Chip in Beauty and the Beast on three occasions (UK Productions, Bristol Hippodrome) and, recently, the title role in Oliver! with local company BODS who won a national award (Theatre Royal, Bath).
Jacques loves many sports and particularly enjoys playing hockey and football in which he has reached county level.
Jacques is absolutely thrilled about playing the Artful Dodger and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped him towards this fantastic opportunity and especially to his family who have always encouraged him to fulfil his dream.

Joe Wolstenholme

Joe Wolstenholme

Joe is 13 and lives in Hove, East Sussex, with his Mum, Dad and sister Leah. His West End debut was in Oliver! in April 2009, playing Captain in Fagin’s Gang. Joe was offered the role of the Artful Dodger on the eve of his 13th birthday and said it was the best present ever. As well as being on stage he loves playing football, rugby, golf and cricket. He goes to his local high school, Cardinal Newman, attends dance classes at A2 Arts Performing Arts School and is a member of City Youth Theatre Company, with whom he has appeared in local productions including Guys and Dolls, Robin Hood and 40 Years of Top of the Pops.

Ben Wilson

Ben Wilson

Ben is 12 and lives in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. From the age of three Ben has shown a keen interest in singing, dancing and acting, and the Valle Academy Performing Arts School helped him develop his talent. Other hobbies include football and music. He is learning the trombone with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra which will lead to a performance later this year. Other credits include Are You Smarter than a 10 Year Old? (Sky), Sold (ITV) and commercials. Ben is a member of the Rhythm Nation Dance School where he acts as assistant choreographer to choreographer Simon Barnum. He says playing Dodger is one of the best experiences in his life so far. He would like to thank his mum for her constant support.
